Persons (Pronomina)

Kecap Gaganti Jalma (Pronomina)

The Persons Are:

Kuring = I/Me (1st singular person)
Urang=We/Us (1st plural person)
Anjeun=You (2nd singular person)
Aranjeun=You all (2nd plural person)
Anjeunna=He/She (3rd singular person)
Aranjeunna=They (3rd plural person)

Example

Kuring mios ka Bandung sareng Bobby
I go to Bandung with Bobby

Urang kedah diajar sakumna basa
We must learn all of the languages.

Anjeun nuju diajar basa Sunda
You are learning Sundanese Language

Aranjeun gaduh anléh diajar basa naon baé

Punten and Mangga

Punten=excuseme/us (for general purposes)
It should answered by ‘mangga’.

Quotes:
peuyeum is one of Sundanese traditional food made from fermented casava or rice and it has sweet flavour.

Apologizement
‘Punten’ is used to make an apologize statement from who has made a mistake.
It’s often chenged to ‘hapunten’ or ‘hampura’ form.
The answer may two:
- ‘dihapunten’/’dihampura’ or ‘mangga’: to explain acception of apologize statement
- ‘teu dihapunten’/’teu dihampura’; to decline the apologize statement

Condition 1:
A: Neda dihapunten tina sadaya kasalahan
Forgive me from all of my mistakes
B: Mangga, ku kuring dihampura sakabéh kasalahan anjeun
Yes/sure, I forgive you from all of your mistakes

Condition 2:
A: Punten pisan Kang, kuring telat.

Mangga

In the condition of word ‘mangga’ not used to give an answer, it should mean ‘please’.

A: Mangga calik! or mangga lebet!
